Recorded with Zoom H6 Recorder and stereo microphones. The sound was edited in the Reaper program using EQ processors. The sounds were post processed to seclude and enhance the sound. Recorded in a quiet karate dojo, pulling and replacing sword from its sheath at different speed intervals. I recorded it for my University sound library.

Excellent!
Even with the slight background hiss, this is very, very good.
It may not be super flashy, but it's one of the most realistic sounding ones we have here, probably because, I'm guessing, it was, in fact, a real sword. :-)
Nice editing, it really does take front and center, and I can't hear any background noises at all.
The sheathing and unsheathing is useful as it is, but you can get allot of mileage out of the blade tapping the sheath when ti's drawn as well, if you know what your doing.
Thanks for doing such a long and varied track, it makes finding exactly what you need so much easier.
And thanks for sharing this with the community, as well!
