Recorded from our campsite in the Moose River Plains, inside the Adirondack Park, NY. Black-capped Chickadees sing their "Dawn Song" at dusk , in the trees above , with a chorus of Spring Peepers across the road. The "gobble" of a Wild Turkey can also be heard at around the 1 minute mark. The occasional "peeeent" of an Am. Woodcock can also be heard. The equipment I used was a Sony MZ-NF810 minidisc recorder, with an 18" parabolic dish with homemade components, housing Radio Shack mic elements.

This recording made me homesick. We used to have peepers all around us in the spring, but where we live now, there are none. City people have no idea what they are missing.

I really enjoyed this sound. The quality is great! I'll let you know if it combines well with som of my filmprojects.
