Recorded after dark, from our campsite in the Moose River Plains, inside the Adirondack Park, NY. A chorus of Spring Peepers sounding off in the marshlands across the road , with a Northern Saw-whet Owl calling from the woods in the distance. The equipment I used was a Sony MZ-NF810 minidisc recorder, and an 18" parabolic dish with homemade components housing Radio Shack mic elements.

a great sound that takes me back to my first camping trips. Well modulated too.

Thanks, my mom'll love this. She used to love when the spring would come in NS and the peepers would peep all night. I think I'll use this to make here a mother's day relaxation track to help her sleep now that she moved away.

Nicely done! I especially like the Saw-whet Owl in the background.
