Bass and Git Pickup Noises

Noise captured by a Delano bass pickup on my bass guitar, switched to single coil mode. The instrument was held over the LCD display of a Behringer DDX3216 digital mixing console that was furthermore used for the recording. A high pass filter at approx. 300Hz was applied. The result is a sound very untypical for pickup noise that sounds rather like an weird alarm beep or a defective electronic device.
