The 100% genuine and original HTX sound in stereo :P

3 merged samples featuring 21 group-panned notes with portamento and plenty dialed up effets like chorus, delay and reverb, everything except external panning, digial DC-filtering and volumeramps are comming straight out of the Novation X-station.

Rumor has it that the core of the original THX-sound actually was programmed in Csound in case you want to recreate the original. A google search will give you the right pointer.

(It's actually programmed in C); https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kCzqQXTEAQU

Fixed high-pass version without the DC and normalized. Individually packed for freshness.

Thanks for the tip about the original being a programmed sound. I'm no musician, but I do love to program, so I've made my own audio experiment inspired by Deep Note. It's not a replacement for the THX sound (nor for HTX). It's different, like a cousin from an alternate universe. And it has tons of bass. :-)

Yes, I'd love to hear HTX-III with just one or two earth shaking deep notes. Not that I'm complaining: HTX-II is still the best drop-in replacement for "Deep Note" available.

It easily sounds muddy with to many deep notes. A couple might work.

Good job! It seems to lack bass, though, which seems important given that THX calls their version "Deep Note". Maybe try for a HTX III?
