This is a recording of a ship as it lies secured to the pier in the port of Antwerp at night. All lit up quietly humming and pulling the ropes. Notice a resonant tone at 300Hz that continuously fades in and out. Recorded with a Pearl MSH 10 mid-side stereo microphone to a Sound Devices 702.

This is one of my favorite ambient samples. I recently upgraded my PC to a modest theater system. The ship sounds on here are best
