Two cars pass in close succession on a country road and scare a parrot. I stopped on the side of the road to have a break and took the opportunity to grab some binaural field-recordings. This pack just goes to show that the perfect sample is all about timing and the right conditions. That I never got, here a parrot decided it didn't like the approaching car :) First there was wind, then trees rustling then...you know the story. Recording Chain: Sound Professionals SP-TFB-2 Microphones (in ear) --> Edirol R-09 (mic in, level 10, high gain, 24 bit @ 44.1 kHz --> 16 bit @ 44.1 kHz).
