A Vitamin C tablet dissolving in water. The mic was submerged in the water in a polythene bag. This is an initial attempt at responding to a request at http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8442. From 2m25 you can hear the kitchen clock ticking. I shall try again, maybe in stereo, and without the clock. Electret mic directly into iRiver WAV recorder.
