Re: the chimes. The first one, the ding-dong (D, B) is a call to the crew (intercom/telephone, to speak to other crew members in different locations, i.e. other galley or flight deck). The second one, the single *ding* (B), is played along with the "no smoking" (or "no electronic devices") or "fasten seat belts" indicator light.
Again, great recording! Was this also on the 737-476?

Great to put it in to the QA pack now. Have you ever noticed how many different ping noises there are on an aircraft? In this sample, there are 2, do you know what they are?
