Recorded this on an afternoon in the Fall of 2014 at a Buddhist monastery in a small coastal town outside Bangkok, derived from video taken by a Samsung Galaxy S3. At prayer time, the monks assemble and one monk leads with a microphone. This recording reflects the somewhat tinny EQ of that sound system, and also includes some dimly-heard background noise from the outside environment (e.g., passing vehicles).
