At Rothley Station on the Great Central Railway
L.M.S Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 No.45305 returns from Leicester North and coasts into the Station. The Station Master calls out the Station name. The injector is turned on and the fireman tends to the fire. Some interested passengers gaze at the firebox as the driver and fireman wait for the Guards Flag. 'Right Away' says the fireman, but she won't move, 'It's got stuck on top dead centre'. The driver winds the reverser to back up a bit then into forward gear, punching the engine away under the road bridge towards Quorn & Woodhouse.
