Lovely to look forward to these! I've noticed them starting to sing from 15th January this year (2015).

The european blackbird (Turdus merula) is certainly popular with me and many who love bird song. The varied dialects and phrases of the blackbird make it one of the most interesting and beautiful song birds worlwide.
