R.J. Stefanski - Found Sounds

This is an unedited recording of Hamtramck, MI's Islam call to prayer which is played at several mosques throughout the city several times each day. This particular prayer was the Dhuhr which occurs around lunchtime and was taped near the intersection of Jos Campau and Caniff from only about 100 feet from the loudspeaker. I used a Crown SASS stereo mic plugged into my handheld Tascam Dr 07. The recording has been maintained in its original audiophile quality of 96 K / 24 bits. Feel free to use in your own productions, please cite me as a source if possible. Check out more 96 K field recordings on my soundcloud page.

Thanks! I'll use it as part of a "religious drone" I'm creating.
