The Commons is located on what used to be the site of the Crowne Plaza hotel which was demolished in 2012. The site is now a hub of transitional activity and home to a number of post-quake organisations. The recording was made on a Saturday morning before I ran a workshop for Gap Filler making cardboard shelters and buildings with young people.
