Inspired by an image of a dark-shadowed future city of towering buildings forming vast echoing concrete canyons for the streets far below. Strange machinery hums, air conditioning and life support systems, while winds make ominous sounds that could become comforting in the background for the residents who have been living there for awhile.
Sounds used include parts of the following;
duckduckpony's 130519__duckduckpony__machine-hum-2.wav, and 130520__duckduckpony__machine-hum-1.wav

genelythgow's 203724__genelythgow__intense-ambient.wav
Anton's wind1.wav
All the sounds were manipulated in Audacity. I attempted to create the illusion of vast echoing space between huge buildings. it's not entirely repetitive, the sounds vary a bit over time, and some parts only appear once.
A .wav file would be too big (about 1.5gb, I think). Currently, 32 minutes and 23 seconds. yes, 3223. Must be a lucky number.
