I use Reason.

A particular piece of equipment found in their virtual rack, of which I'm rather fond... is know as "the Echo":

...which gives the nod, of course virtually... to such Titans as the RE 201 Space Echo.

I use this Delay in nearly everything I do.

Frequently, I find myself working on something... & pressing the stop button, just as the automation has a Delayed passage, fully Feeding back & frozen in a squelchy, self oscillating state of AWESOMENESS! Then of course, I am inspired to record this phenomenon... while modulating the perimeters.

Afterwards I sometimes load the audio into a ReDrum channel, thus affording me control of pitch ect... or even just work with it in a Mixer channel & build multi-track "FeedBackScapes".

Now & again, I'll do something absentminded... like clicking the volume button... or emptying the trash :P

It's fun. Sometimes the find their way into other works, often they stand alone.
