A cockerel can be faintly heard crowing as Class 33 33102 'Sophie' sounds its horn and approaches with a train from Cheddleton. The train is quite busy and there is a party being held on board the train. This has caused some delay to the scheduled departure. Some discussion takes place about the train being late away. Eventually after a protracted station stop Sophie gets the right away and heads off towards Kingsley and Froghall with LNER Class N7 0-6-2T No.69621 coasting past at the rear. Suddenly the N7 bursts into life and then peace returns to the sleepy station. A woodpecker can be faintly heard drumming in the woods.
