Samples of pomegranate tree claves. Claves (meaning "keys" in Spanish, as in, musical/code/meaning keys, not lock keys) are, basically, wooden sticks beaten together to produce a tone. Similar to woodblocks, but the claves are not hollow.

Four velocity zones, 1 is lowest, 4 is highest. Each sample has been equalised to compensate for microphone response and normalised.
Recorded with AKG D-40 dynamic and Rode NT5 condenser microphone through Yamaha MG-102C to Roland UA-1G sound interface.
