This is a recording where the bike passes me in the highest speed of all other samples. My guess is over 200 km/h. Maybe someone can just calculate and confirm this ;)

The speed calculation from the Doppler shift on this sample is quite frightening:-
Air temp 15C gives a speed of sound 340 m/s
Engine pitch just before drive-by = 365 Hz
Engine pitch just after = 238 Hz
Speed = 340 * 3.6 * (365-238)/(365+238) = 258 kph !! Tones were measured by applying a strong bandpass filter of 150 - 450 Hz, then measuring the time interval for 40 audio cycles.
As a check, Dobroide measured tones of 360 and 240 Hz, giving a speed of 245 kph
Or measured by ear, I reckoned the notes heard were about F and Bb (349 & 233 Hz) giving 244 kph. Edrdie tells me the bike is capable of 290 kph

These sound belong all to the same recording session where it was very very stormy. The next time i will take it without noise - really ! ;)

The sound itself is good as before, but what I (we) want is pure sound. The sound without noise. A little noise is ok, but yours may be too much. There are some easy ways to avoid it. Anyway, I've come to worry about the rider. Over 200km/h is quite a speed.
