You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find discourse samples of informal speech that are unscripted and [mostly] unaware of the recording media. This kind of stuff is priceless for linguistics study. You caught examples of vocal fry and a really cool snooty sounding bit of prosody not to mention lots of slang and vulgarity that is hard to come by. Keep up the recordings they are very useful.
