Hundreds of people are beating the metal-temporary-wall in front of the senate house of Mexico City. They are protesting again the privatization of PEMEX in Mexico City.

Recorded on December 9th of 2013 in Reforma Avenue, Mexico City.
Recorded by a MS Setup Schoeps CMC5-MK4 + CCM8, a H2aXLR Aquarian Hydrophone, and a Jezrileyfrench contact microphone.
Recorded by a 788T Sound Devices Recorder with a CL8 mixer.

Thanks for your great sounds! I used an excerpt for a short animation.
Between 1900-1980 the "ninety percent" got richer and the "ten percent" got poorer. "Pik and Etty in Progressive Taxation" discusses the role of taxation in spreading the wealth.
