Sunday July 17, 2006. 105°F or thereabouts, including the heat index. Hot as Hell in the sun, with a balmy breeze gently blowing in Ixonia, Wisconsin. Had the MZ-R50 minidisc and those awesome Giant Squid omnidirectional mini cans. Was itching to get some farm sounds while at a family party. Cows were relaxing in the barn, so figured I'd slap some green stuff around. I hiked through 7 ft. corn rows at various paces. This snippet is 20 seconds out of a ~9 minute recording.
