Singing bowls (also known as Tibetan Singing Bowls, rin gongs, Himalayan bowls or suzu gongs) are a type of bell, specifically classified as a standing bell. Singing bowls were historically made throughout Asia, especially Nepal, China and Japan. They are closely related to decorative bells made along the silk road from the Near East to Western Asia. Today they are made in Nepal, India, Japan, China and Korea.

The sounds of original Tibetan Singing Bowls, I like to share with You, are produced mostly with those bowls, I bought at the Ananda Bookstore in Duisburg between 1988 to 1994.
A man travelling through Himalaya Mountains arrived regularly and sold Tibetan singing bowls with sequences, sounds that were matched on the planets. Over the years I gained more than twenty of those measuring between 11 and 29 centimeter the outer diameter.

Our Tibetan Bowls - sounds of them I will upload here in future- and this gong are up today used in training in our Dojo for Taijiquan and Kung-Fu, Qigong and Meditation.

The sounds of this Bowl that You are listening to, has frequencies that are assigned to the frequencies of the two Planets SATURN/URANUS; the sounds were taken by me on July 10, 2013 and are planned to be used as modules for our soundproject Third-Eye Activation in

One of them was produced with a soft singing bowl clapper and the other with a wooden striker.
