It's May 29, 2006, around 10:00 AM, we have parked the car at the world-famous Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square PA. I am recording using a MicroTrak with the supplied "T" mic attached to a custom "boom" made from a TV antenna. This gear lives in a bag I carry over my shoulder, and sometimes that leads to "handling" and movement noise in the recordings. It gets better.
In this first segment, my wife and I walk across the parking lot and enter the admission building. We are among the early birds. You will hear a group of Asian tourists in the parking lot, footsteps, and a dramatic change in ambiance as we enter the building.
This was recorded at 44.1, 24 bit. I was not monitoring the recording, so it was recorded at quite a low level, then maximized using Goldwave. The most offensive handling noises have been edited out.

Yes. It's near us, and we somehow let the summer go by without visiting this year. Our loss!

Wasn't Longwood Gardens beautiful? I've been there twice and it still hasn't lost its sense of wonder.

Has enough variation to extract some useful segments.
