I needed small stadium sound effects for a play about the local football club, Brentford FC. The club, very graciously, gave me free access around the ground to home matches early in the season 2006/7. This sound extract is from Brentford's home match with Swansea Town. The referee in question was Mr Graham Poll, who was still trying to live down his handling of the Australia-Croatia game in Germany two months earlier.

Nice recording. I used to live in Brook Road South directly opposite the away supporters entrance. I spent most saturdays trying to keep the match noise out of my recordings. Nice to hear it again, thanks.
