qubodup - Glad you enjoy it!

I opened up the unit and slammed those springs inside.
The Fostex 3180 is a spring reverb containing four springs.
I really like it. I've got some different spring reverbs but my two 3180's are the only ones I've got that are in stereo. Makes a lot of difference.

This sounds amazing! What do you mean by "hit the springs"? You passed metal spring samples through the Fostex 3180?
