Percussion

Samples of a bass kick drum, mute hit (beater stops and stays on the skin with each hit). This is a closed dual-skin bass kick drum (not your regular open single-skin "clicky" drum that any virtual drumkit supplies). Recorded with AKG D-40 and Rode NT5 microphones through a Yamaha MG-102C mixer to a Roland UA-1G sound interface.

-1 is lowest velocity zone (1-32, say), -4 is highest (ex. 96-128 MIDI).

"-P" means processed, the samples have been equalised, compressed and saturated to sound more like the real thing.
