Flash Charging [WARNING! VERY LOUD!]

Synthesized using ZynAddSubFX, sequenced using LMMS, normalized and edited using Audacity.

Edit 2015-01-07:
I've noticed people seem to get hurt by this sound, so I added a loudness warning in the title. I considered removing the file (having really low rating - I guess it's because of the loudness). However it has a few hundreds downloads so some people have found it useful anyway.

To everyone who gave this 1 star: it'd be very nice if you also left a comment saying what was the reason for doing so, it'd help me improve my work, thank you :)

Kind've annoying because its perfect for what I'm making. I'm half way through making a horror, and I need some sounds which make you feel uncomfortable. Not sure about the distortion though.

Its just such a high frequency it irritates the treble sensors in your ears. The problem I'm having is it seems to disagree with some speakers/headphones. It works fine on my laptop speakers, but my studio headphones distort when it gets to a certIn point. May be a manufacture error in the headphones, but they dont agree with that frequency. I've found it with another similar sound on this site as well.

I listen to so much LOUD EDM it struck me as comparatively soft, even soothing. I am not trolling. It's a good sound. That's why you have so many downloads. The 1 stars were just left behind by pussies and jerks.

1. I placed an explicit warning that this sound is loud
2. The attenuation of higher frequencies is intentional.
3. It's has been digitally synthesised, not recorded.

you might want to check either your synthesis, your equipment or whatever software you are using to record. The graph shown is the amplitude of the sound for the most part and your amplitude is quite obviously falling off as the pitch goes higher and up out of human hearing range. Usually this would be as a result of sample rates, but I see ythe file is listed as 192000hz which is well high enough to record ultrasonic frequencies. So my guess is that something in the chain prior to the final sound attenuates as the frequency goes higher.
