Recorded summer 2005 in the backyard of a cabin on a marsh near the NC Coast (not far from Wilmington) Crickets and katydids are constant background. A frog starts peeping, and other soon join in an antiphonal chorus, which goes on for about thirty seconds, then stops abruptly.
Recorded on a Sharp MD recorder (MD-MT90) with SoundPro stereo mic.

Two for the price of one. There are the frogs which are excellent. And when they stop, there is the nighttime insect ambience without the frogs. I used a little brown noise removal and it was superb after cleanup.

This sounds like my backyard in Wilmington North Carolina. -This has to be the southeastern region of the United States I suppose.
