Sound of grandfather clock striking. The sound dies out and then the clock keeps on ticking for a while. Original Mpeg recording (Marantz PMD670 with AT825 MP2 16 bit 48000Khz but converted to WAV 16 bit 44100 and normalized) no other editing was done.

Come along, guys, it sounds great. Use your imagination! I think of this stately place I was once in when I was very little, it had soft grey carpet or rugs, lots of dark, dark, wooden things in the room, book shelves, the grandfather clock itself, dark wood, dark gold pendulum weight, darg golden face with beautiful carved clockhands, a nice blue curtaining over the window to keep the sun from fading the nice things in the room. I wish I could go back to where that was over 40 years ago, I was only 4. I could have stayed there all day. I think it was someone's study, someone my dad knew, somewhere in the UK.
