Hi Karo,
You're welcome! The gear I used was a Rode NT4 with Rycote windshield, recording to Tascam DR-680, and monitoring on Beyerdynamic DT-250s. The NT4 has been an absolute workhorse for me, so I'd definitely recommend it. The DT-250s are clean, transparent and keep my ears warm (v. important that last one!), so thumbs up for them too! The Tascam though has been a little temperamental at times. If you're looking at similarly priced field recorders, then go for something with fewer features and better reliability.
