Stereo contact mics

Ingredients:
1 inox kitchen sink
1 butter knife
2 homemade contact mics
1 Zoom H1 hand-held digital recorder
sticky tape

wire up the contact mics so that each connects to one side of the stereo channel. Plug them into the Zoom H1 input.
Use the sticky tape to attach the contact mics to the kitchn sink.
Switch the recorder on. Press "Record".
Scrape the kitchen sink gently with the knife in slow circular movements.

crispy clean sound like a studio recording. the butter knife sounds like something much bigger and sharper, in a way chilling. A great sound, well done.
