3pm on a sunny Summer afternoon in the Eastern Melbourne suburbs. Slightly windy with the sounds of birds and leaves. Cars from the main street can be heard in the background.
Recorded on a Zoom H2 with high mic sensitivity. Placed on the top rail of my backyard fence. Recording started at 2:52pm on Sunday, December 30th, 2012.
I normalised this up to 96%, removed a couple of particularly loud winds and trimmed the start and end to remove the sound of my hands on the Zoom.
