Cassette Tape Recordings

inspired by the latest Freesound Dare project to utilise old tape recordings, I discovered this old and noisy cassette tape - a Boots Audio micro-ferric C60 played back through a 1980's vintage Walkman cassette player and re-recorded into 24bit digital to retain all that wonderful analogue hiss and saturation!

It derives from an old home recording made in the winter of 1978 of a weather report on the radio.
