Bee Eaters. We turned off the main road past Evretou down an unmade track, and came across 2 dozen Bee Eaters sitting on the telegraph wires. Stopped the car, wound down the window, and tried to operate camera and sound recorded together! Noises stage right like a woman giving birth, were probably made by a goat. Sharp MD and Sony mic.

That sounds frighteningly like a person... Before I read the entire description I thought it was someone being tortured! Very interesting.
