As requested: here is a test of some small condenser microphones.
For the test I used a Sony PCM-D50 recorder with the setting of 6 (only on the Soundman OKM II studio classic microphones was the setting on 7) and an egg timer, 15cm away from the microphones. These were spaced 90° from the timer (except the inside microphones of the Sony PCM-D50, which I had on the 90° setting.
Apart from the inside microphones of the the Sony PCM-D50 I used the AEVOX IM microphones and the Soundman OKM Studio classic, both of them binaural microphones, the Primo EM172 microphone capsuales and the Shure WL183 microphones.
Please check the title of the track, which one was used.

Why does it have so much noise in the background? I'm planning on buying the OKM Classic Studio but i was expecting very much less background noise.
