This is the sound of the large iron gate closing on the block of flats where I live. I've included three different versions for all to enjoy/use, it has some very deep resonance going on there. Recorded with Zoom H2 portable recorder and external condenser mic.

You wouldn't believe how long I've spent looking for a sound exactley like this in the public domain, that wasn't some other sound slowed down or processed in numerous ways! 100% pure recording...kudos to you my friend! btw you should add more tags to this like metal, groan, ship hull things like that, it's what I typed in trying to find one! Cheers! :)
