envelope 1 Emmanuel Holterbach

This recording is done with the use of contact microphones. Taped to a wire nest pole, the contact microphones got the turbines vibrations of the hydro-electrical powerplant, transformed by the resonances of the metal structure protecting the site. This sound was recorded by Manu Holterbach and is part of The City Rings, Envelopes project, http://thecityrings.org
