In 2010, I found myself on interstate 95 about once a week on route between Providence, RI and the New Haven area of Connecticut. The way back usually involved a brief stop at one of rest areas, where the sounds of the highway are especially evident, experienced as a constant roar with semi trucks the endless ebb and flow of car traffic. This recording was done on March 2, 2010 on an iPod touch with the FiRe application and Mity Mic.
