Sen John Kerry beating his gavel to call a hearing to order. From C-Span, who also needs attribution in follow-on works. This "triple tap" was timed to make it sound like someone who is mad at the courtroom as each subsequent tap is slightly louder than the last.

Hello!
I used this sound in my documentary series about Germany called Adventures in Deustchland!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ttcb2D-UwHk
You are listed in the end credits and at the following link since Youtube wouldn't let me put all the credits in the description field: http://bit.ly/18YL4sb
The credits are also accessible by clicking on the credit link when it appears in the video during the credits at the end.
There is a Facebook page for the show as well. https://www.facebook.com/AdventuresInDeutschland
Thank you so much for sharing your sound! If you like the show, please share it around.
Thanks,
Kris Boruff

@ELEEJC73 : flac is lossless and therefore better than MP3 while still compressing the filesize. don't be a dingleberry. use it or don't.

Good, but you should convert it to mp3 or wav. I had to do it after I downloaded it. But like I said it's good though.
