Wild Tracks are a group of young artists working with a composer living on the Isle of Skye in Scotland called Richy Carey. We are interested in sounds and sci-fi, and work together to imagine new ways exploring our surroundings through field recording, story writing and soundtrack making - through listening.
You can hear some of the radio plays we have made using both the sounds we have recorded ourselves, and some of the sounds we found on freesound.org on our website.
Wild Tracks focuses on listening as a way of re-imagining our world, and though we do look to record good quality audio, our attention is more on having fun with field recording and being creative with what we find.
