BTW... I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but the file has a bit of a technical problem. The left channel is fine, but the right channel consists entirely of sample values 0, -1 and -2 (assuming 16 bits).

For example, using SuperCollider, I extracted 20 samples beginning at sample index 88200 -- two channels interleaved, this is starting at 1 second. The data come back as [left, right, left, right...]

[ 2127, -2, 1743, -1, 1335, -1, 1295, -2, 1269, -1, 1113, -1, 1091, -1, 1074, -2, 866, 0, 605, -1 ]

The left channel is valid. The right channel is practically silent.

So, half of the information downloaded needs to be discarded.
