The guy n Boise called a friend who worked i the military, and someone transferred the information to USAF. Minutes later a high power surveillance radar on Greenland started sweeps in a narrow lobe in the direction somewhere in Orion. Normally, you cannot fish signals from such a radar system, but the radar pulses passed a satellite, a radar echo was created and bounced back to earth. And happened to hit Boise....
