A half mile into the woods is a small clearing. The clearing is created by a large area of granite, upon which vegetation can not grow. There is a small stream that starts at the top of the granite swath. The water flow changes many times before leaving the granite for more vegetation. This is a close-up recording of water flowing quickly over a bump of rock, which occurs near the top of the granite slab. Recorded with a Zoom H4 on 25 July 2007 near Rosendale, NY, USA.
