I made a recording of a lively but fairly quiet bar in the middle of the afternoon. By adding reverberation and keeping the noise away, I created a suspension effect, similar to the ones you can see at flashback moments in movies. We can hear laughter, and music in the background, interspersed by the sounds of keys on a keyboard.
