I recorded the sound of the pages of a book that is quickly flipped over by slightly accelerating the starting track. From there, I increased its LFO frequency and depth. The rendering takes up the tempo of the initial track but produces a very artificial sound, similar to friction, where a dripping material is sinking. A sound of science fiction.
