Everyone who complains about flac must be ignorant. It is loseless, save space and it's 2 clicks away from turning it back to wav in Audacity. Or mp3, ogg, or whatever there is available.
You can copy, modify, distribute and perform the sound, even for commercial purposes, all without the need of asking permission to the author. Get attribution text...
