This is a stereo recording of an exterior glass and metal door on a university campus in New Jersey, USA. There are several articulations of the door here that lend themselves to creature and robot noises. There is a whimper and a sigh and a screech as well as some ticking and clicking. This reminded me very much of baby godzilla type noises. I've put these into IRIS 2 and had a good time making synth patches with them.

Stereo recording at 48kHz 24bit on a Tascam D-40X using the internal microphones.
