The Canadian Sound Heritage is a collective effort to record and continuously update recordings of the Canadian soundscape. Our goal is not simply preservation, but an ongoing evaluation of our changing environment. The samples are at 24/48, and have been edited to reduce or eliminate all other audible sounds than what the sample name suggests. Thus, they can be plugged in perfectly in any film, multimedia, or games project as an ambiance loop.
