This is the bulk of a thunderstorm recorded from outside my bathroom window in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States, on August 20, 2009. Recorded using a Zoom h4 and an Audio Technica AT-822 exposed almost directly to the elements. The file starts out with very heavy rain, which tapers off gradually. Plenty of heavy thunder, but no extremely close ground strikes.
